The 4 series buckle is based off of the 5 series. The 4 is a smaller buckle that fits on a  3/4" belt. The 4SL is made from a solid sheet of silver that is punched out by the No. 4 die that was created by Ed Bohlin himself in the twenties. The buckle is then engraved along the edges with a tool. This engraving pattern is known as a lightening edge. The buckle is then polished to a mirror finish. This buckle is made to fit a 3/4” belt.
